Making Woolly Mammoths

23 Oct

This term, as part of our Stone Age topic in history, we have been learning all about woolly mammoths. These enormous, furry creatures once roamed the Earth during the Ice Age and were an important part of Stone Age life. To help us understand more about them, we decided to make our very own woolly mammoths in class! We used plastic bottles as the base for our models, then added features like tusks and googly eyes. It was a fantastic way to combine creativity with what we’ve learnt about the past. Our classroom now has its very own herd of woolly mammoths and we are very PROUD of our creations!
