Exploring Colour at the National Gallery
As part our art and design curriculum, Year 3 visited the National Gallery and took part in a workshop focused on colour. We walked through different rooms in the gallery, looking at paintings that used dark colours and others that used light colours, which helped us understand how colour can affect mood and atmosphere. The workshop was a fun and interesting experience, as we were able to explore real artworks and share our ideas. We also completed a small practical activity where we designed and created our own lamps, using colour and light creatively.
