Make like Moore! Year 9s creating with clay

16 Jun

As part of our Key Stage 3 curriculum, Year 9s study the abstracted, smooth, curved forms created by one of Britain’s most renowned artists, Henry Moore. Having researched his life and techniques, students create these beautiful clay figures inspired by Moore’s work. Esther in Year 9 expressed her enjoyment working with clay, saying: “I was inspired by Henry Moore to create these abstracted figures based on his style and it’s extremely satisfying working with clay and creating artwork in three dimensions.”.

Well done Year 9 artists, we are PROUD of your creations!
