Communication is Key

Our students in the SLCN ARP have been making unbelievable progress through this academic year. Through a mixture of small group and 1:1 session over the course of the year. Our students have seen improvements in their social skills, comprehension expressive language and so much more. 

Ms Buckingham noted that one student is now able to have extended conversations, form long sentences and initiate conversations a dramatic improvement from the beginning of the year. Another has also seen fantastic improvements in social skills being able to extend what she has learnt in her social skill interventions to the playground.

Ms Camilleri has seen great progress with another in confidence, expressive language. These students are only a few examples of the brilliant improvement that are students have shown over this year. Through their individual effort and determination and the support from the team we are so PROUD of our students and excited to watch them continue to grow next year.
