Reception are Out and About

25 Feb

Our Eastbrook School Reception classes enthusiastically explored their local environment this term, comparing and contrasting different areas of Dagenham.

During their first visit, the children enjoyed a walk around the local area to discover the urban facilities needed for a busy town like ours. Whilst out and about, they noticed a wide range of features, including housing, a variety of shops and restaurants, a gym, the local football ground, a police station, excellent transport links, and even some exciting new Film and TV recording studios.

Reflecting on the visit, Viaan said, “I’m so happy that I now know what all of these buildings are that I pass on my way to school.”
