Petals, Potions and Playtime

21 Oct

Our Reception pupils have had a wonderful time exploring their new potion making equipment in our mud kitchen!

Using lavender, rosemary, colourful flower petals, leaves and natural materials, the children created their very own magical potions.

With lots of imagination and enthusiasm, they mixed, poured, stirred and experimented with different ingredients. The children talked about the colours, smells and textures they discovered, while developing their language, creativity and fine motor skills.

It was lovely to see the children working together, sharing ideas and proudly showing their friends their special creations. Our mud kitchen was certainly full of laughter, learning and a little bit of magic!
