An Enriching End to the Year! Curious Children Crawling, Climbing & Creating at Kidspace
As part of 'Enrichment Week' our Reception students visited Kidspace Soft Play Centre today. Primarily, this was a reward for all of their hard work and development throughout their first year at school with us but it also achieved activity number 38 from our '50 Things To Do Before 11 ¾ ' charter: Be an Ambassador for our School.
This was the children's first time utilising public transport and using public services whilst representing Eastbrook. Whilst at the play centre, there was running, jumping, climbing, crawling, sliding and driving in abundance as everybody so enthusiastically explored what Kidspace had to offer. Some of the equipment and activities on offer were quite challenging but, pleasingly, students practised the school character virtues of perseverance, teamwork and curiosity. A great time was had by staff and pupils. On our return to school, Nura told another member of staff: "We had so much fun on our trip."
Reception, you thoroughly deserved an amazing end to your school year. We are so PROUD of everything that you have achieved.
