We're Supporting BBC Children in Need

17 Nov

Our Eastbrook School community came together today to do its bit and support Children in Need, showing incredible generosity, enthusiasm, and kindness. Students and staff took part in fun fundraising activities, all aimed at raising money to help improve the lives of children across the UK. The day began with a cheerful non-uniform event, where learners arrived dressed in bright colours, spots, and Pudsey-themed outfits, helping create a warm and joyful atmosphere throughout the school.

Throughout the day, teachers led discussions about why Children in Need is such a vital charity, highlighting how the money raised helps provide safety, opportunities, and support for children who need it most. It was inspiring to see students eager to contribute and PROUD of the difference they were making. One Year 5 student said, “It’s amazing that just by wearing my own clothes today, I’m helping such a good cause and raising worthwhile money for such a deserving charity.”

Eastbrook is delighted to celebrate the kindness and effort shown by all involved and look forward to sharing our final fundraising total soon.
