Eastbrook Primary School Goes Green for World Mental Health Day!

13 Oct

Eastbrook Primary School recently came together to celebrate World Mental Health Day by wearing green to show our support for mental health awareness

It was wonderful to see so many of our pupils and staff dressed in green, demonstrating the importance of kindness, understanding and looking after our mental health and wellbeing.

At Eastbrook, we believe that mental health matters just as much as physical health. We want every child to feel happy, safe, supported and, most importantly, listened to. World Mental Health Day is a fantastic opportunity to remind our children that it is okay to talk about their feelings, ask for help and show kindness to others.

We are also incredibly proud to announce that, thanks to the generosity of our Eastbrook families, we raised an amazing £95.93! 💚

This is a fantastic achievement, and we would like to say a huge THANK YOU to all our parents, carers, pupils and staff who supported the day and made a donation.

Although World Mental Health Day is celebrated once a year, at Eastbrook we recognise that supporting our children's emotional wellbeing is important every single day.

Together, we can make a difference, one kind word, one conversation and one smile at a time.

💚 Thank you, Team Eastbrook, for helping us spread awareness and showing that mental health matters 💚
