Celebrating Success at Eastbrook School!
Eastbrook School is extremely PROUD of all our students on their exam successes this year!
In our Primary School, results for our Year Six students continue to improve. The combined results for our mainstream students in Reading, Writing & Maths is 11% above national averages. Together with our Apollo students, the Year 6s also succeeded in exceeding the national average in Reading and Writing by 7%.
Primary Headteacher Evan Hollows shared how delighted he is with these results: "We are all very pleased and PROUD of our Year Six students' achievements this year. As always it is a culmination of their hard work and that of every member of staff in the school. We wish them all the very best in secondary."
At Key Stage 4, students demonstrated remarkable improvements across all subjects. Students achieved an average grade increase of 0.7 with an average increase across all measures of 11%.
Our Key Stage 5 results show the biggest A Level improvements in the Local Authority compared to last year, with a 19% increase in A*-B grades and an impressive 24% increase in A*-C grades.
Secondary Headteacher Jamie Gibson also expressed his excitement with these impressive secondary school outcomes: “Congratulations to all Year 11 and 13 students on the results. This has come as a result of two years of hard work, dedication and commitment and I am incredibly PROUD of all students. These results are indicative of the improvements and progress we are making as a school and I look forward to sharing future successes with you all.”
