Celebrating Our New PARAGON Accelerated English Learners

We’re really excited to share how well our pupils on the new PARAGON Accelerated English Course are doing! They’ve made an amazing start and are already showing great progress in building their confidence and communication skills.

In class, pupils have been working hard on building sentences, learning new vocabulary, and writing short paragraphs about their own cultures. They’ve also shared their first impressions of life at our centre and taken the chance to say hello to their teachers and new friends.

It’s been wonderful to see how eager they are to learn and how warmly they’ve connected with everyone around them. We’re really proud of their effort, energy, and positivity — keep it up, PARAGON learners!

Eastbrook School is an Ofsted rated Good, all-through school in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham and is part of the Barking Abbey family. Founded in 1933, Eastbrook has a well-established history of serving the local community, with many generations of families attending as students and even joining as staff. The primary school opened in 2016 and is growing in size year on year. The secondary school transferred into new, state of the art buildings in 2017, benefiting from purpose-built specialist learning environments with industry level resources and outstanding access to green outdoor spaces.
