Year 7 Cricket Team March into Essex Finals Day

The Year 7 cricket team have secured their place at Finals Day of the Essex Tier 2 Softball Cricket Competition after a series of impressive performances against strong opposition.

Showing excellent teamwork, determination and growing confidence throughout the competition, the squad produced some outstanding cricket with both bat and ball. Strong batting partnerships, accurate bowling and energetic fielding helped the team progress through each round and earn their spot among the county’s top schools.

Several players made key contributions during the campaign, with notable performances helping the team remain composed in difficult moments. The team demonstrated excellent sportsmanship and resilience throughout the competition, representing the school superbly both on and off the field.

Staff praised the players for their commitment at training sessions and the positive attitude shown during matches. Their hard work and enthusiasm have been rewarded with the opportunity to compete at Finals Day later this term.
