What a Great Graduation!
On Monday 13th July, Year 6 children returned to school in the evening in their smartest clothes to take part in their Graduation Ceremony! The children looked absolutely stunning, and a lot of care and effort had been taken over their outfits and appearances.
Two children read a poem about life at primary school then Mrs Fernandes and Mr Hollows handed out certificates and graduation photographs. The children wrote their own speeches to be read out; some were a little more modest than others! Throughout the speeches what came through was how much the children had enjoyed their time in the primary school, they were PROUD of their achievements, had made lifelong friendships and were ready for the next chapter of their education. The school virtues were heavily mentioned in speeches, demonstrating the impact that character education has had on the children.
The children read out their favourite memories from their time in the primary school; school trips to Trewern, Adventure Island and Barking Riverside featured heavily. They were also grateful for their friends for making their time in school so joyful!
To end the evening, there were cupcakes and plenty of photography opportunities! Thank you to the fabulous class of 2026!
