Glorious Graduation

Eastbrook Primary School celebrated the achievements of the Year 6 children during the last seven years, at the Graduation Ceremony, on Monday 14th July. Year 6 children and their families were invited to back to school in the evening, where the hall was beautifully decorated. The children looked amazing! There were suits, sparkly dresses, beautiful hair and make-up, bow ties and some very stylishly put together outfits.

Throughout the evening, there was poetry, singing, dancing, a presentation of the children's journey through the school, lots of memories recalled and, most importantly, speeches. Every child wrote their own speech for Mrs Fernandes to read out aloud; some were more modest than others!

After the speeches, there was time for delicious cupcakes and photographic opportunities. There were some tears of pure happiness and achievement, overall a hall filled with gratitude and a sense of achievement. All the staff at the primary school are very PROUD of our Year 6 children and we will miss you all in September.
