Designing Our Own Games

To end our unit of electricity in Science, Year 6 learnt about conductors and insulators. They had the challenge of designing and making a wire loop game for their friends to have a go at. Some of the routes to travel along were tricky and required great dexterity not to close the circuit and set the buzzer off! Each pair challenged another pair to see who could complete the game in the quickest time, without setting the buzzer off! There was quite a lot of noise in the lesson and it required concentration, skill and patience to win!

Eastbrook School is an Ofsted rated Good, all-through school in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham and is part of the Barking Abbey family. Founded in 1933, Eastbrook has a well-established history of serving the local community, with many generations of families attending as students and even joining as staff.
