Jesus In The Community

12 Feb

Our Year 5 students recently enjoyed an engaging and memorable visit to Dagenham Parish Church, where they took part in a series of workshops exploring the Life of Jesus.

The children were immersed in a technology-rich learning experience, using tablets to deepen their understanding through interactive quizzes and videos. These digital resources helped bring key moments from Jesus’s life to life in an accessible and exciting way, encouraging curiosity, discussion, and reflection throughout the session.

The workshops were both informative and engaging, allowing students to learn in a hands-on and interactive environment within the historic setting of the church.

To round off the visit, the children were treated to a welcomed snack, and each pupil was offered a Bible to take home should they wish. It was a thoughtful and enjoyable end to a valuable educational experience.

The visit supported our RE learning beautifully, and the children represented the school wonderfully throughout the entire session.
