If God was all-loving, evil and suffering would not exist

For their Religious Studies oral Viva assessment, Key Stage 3 students were asked to create a short, structured speech responding to the statement: “If God was all-loving, evil and suffering would not exist.” They had to choose whether they agreed or disagreed with the statement and were expected to:

Speak clearly and confidently
Stay within the 2‑minute limit
Use key RS vocabulary
Show good organisation and structure

Students were nervous but also excited to do something that was different where they were being assessed.

Eastbrook School is an Ofsted rated Good, all-through school in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham and is part of the Barking Abbey family.
