Florence Nightingale Museum

17 Jun

Year 12 Health and Social Care students visited the Florence Nightingale Museum to learn more about how she revolutionized the nursing world. Students had opportunity to learn about her work during the Crimean war and how she became known as 'the lady with the lamp'. This supported Health and Social Care students to understand how nursing has developed over the years and how areas of nursing such as hygiene practices have improved overtime. This could not have happened without the leaders such as Florence Nightingale!
