Football at Eastbrook

The new academic year has seen some early success for the Eastbrook football teams. Our Year 7 team have reached the 3rd round of the Essex cup after beating St Bonaventures and Chingford. We are now awaiting to play Wanstead High school or Walthamstow Academy. Our newly formed Year 7 and 8 girls football teams have started the season well winning their first Barking and Dagenham match away to All Saints in a highly competitive 3-2 win. There are 9 Eastbrook boys and girls football teams in total and combined will have played 25 matches between before half term with plenty more to come!

Eastbrook School is an Ofsted rated Good, all-through school in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham and is part of the Barking Abbey family. Founded in 1933, Eastbrook has a well-established history of serving the local community, with many generations of families attending as students and even joining as staff. The primary school opened in 2016 and is growing in size year on year. The secondary school transferred into new, state of the art buildings in 2017, benefiting from purpose-built specialist learning environments with industry level resources and outstanding access to green outdoor spaces.

Eastbrook is a thriving and growing community school, welcoming students from a broad range of backgrounds, culturally, economically and in terms of need.
