Year 2 Study the Great Fire of London

Year 2 have been learning all about the Great Fire of London. As part of their learning, the children sorted key events onto a timeline to help them understand when the fire happened and what came before and after it. This helped them place the Great Fire of London in historical context. Throughout the unit, the children explored the causes of the fire, how it spread, and the short and long-term impact it had on London and the people who lived there. We are incredibly PROUD of how thoughtfully the children discussed this important event in history.
