Year 2 Habitat Heroes

As part of our Science learning about **animal habitats**, Year 2 took part in a quick litter pick to explore how rubbish can affect the places where animals live. After collecting some examples of litter, the children discussed which items could be recycled and which materials might break down over time. The children all thoroughly washed their hands afterwards. This helped them think carefully about how we can look after habitats and protect living things in our local environment. We are very **PROUD** of how the children connected their Science learning to real-life actions that can make a difference.
