British Science Week: Sniffly Sneezes
As part of British Science Week, Year 2 took part in an experiment to find out what would make the best tissue. The children began by discussing the properties a good tissue should have, such as being soft, absorbent and useful for catching sneezes. They then used pipettes to simulate a sneeze onto different materials, carefully observing how each one performed. After rating the usefulness of each material, the children decided that the soft black fabric would make the best tissue. We are incredibly PROUD of how thoughtfully the children tested the materials and used their observations to make a scientific decision.
