The World About Me

18 Jun

This afternoon, our students immersed themselves in a joyful sensory water play session, designed to explore the idea of rain as part of our current topic, The World About Me. The session focused on building sensory awareness through interactive, exploratory learning a vital aspect of our curriculum that supports the development of curiosity, independence, and communication. Set up in the playground, the activity offered a variety of playful experiences using umbrellas, and buckets to simulate the sound, feel, and movement of rain.

Children used their senses to engage fully with the environment listening to water tapping on umbrellas, feeling the cool splash on their hands, and experimenting with pouring and spraying.

We are PROUD to be a school that values sensory learning and celebrates every child’s unique way of engaging with the world.
