Fine Motor Skills Development – Bead Threading Activity

16 Jan

During fine motor skills activities, students took part in bead threading. This activity supported the development of hand–eye coordination and helped to strengthen finger and hand muscles. Students practiced controlled, purposeful movements, which improved their dexterity and muscle control, while remaining focused and engaged throughout the task. Children in Launchpad were supported to access the activity at an appropriate level, building confidence as they explored different bead sizes and threading techniques. They demonstrated perseverance and concentration, with adult guidance helping to reinforce grip, coordination, and sustained attention.
