Fostering Independence Through Forest School Adventures

10 Jun

This term, our children visited the forest school as part of their 'My Independence' lessons. The goal was to encourage them to walk to the forest school independently, using visual cues and requiring minimal support from adults. While there, the children enjoyed exploring the trees and nature, collecting leaves, sticks, and pine cones along the way. Some children also had the opportunity to sit and read a book together as a group, followed by some free time to play on the field.
