Year 7 Open Evening

We are looking forward to welcoming all of our prospective students and parents to our open evening on Thursday 16th September. The evening will run from 4.45 to 7.00 pm and there will be  presentations by the Headteacher Mr Frith at 5.00 p.m. and 6.00 p.m.

Although the evening is primarily aimed at Year 6 pupils, we also welcome Year 5 students who want to come and have a look around. All parents and students will be given a guided tour of our school and get to see the amazing facilities we have to offer. They will get to meet our wonderful teachers, and most importantly get the opportunity to talk to some of our current and former students about what a great school Eastbrook is becoming.

We asked one of our star students, Alfie Tucker, to summarise his thoughts about being a student at Eastbrook.  He wrote the following:

“Students at Eastbrook are given all the tools needed for succeeding in both demanding careers and in higher education, whilst at the same time being immersed in a safe, nurturing and enjoyable learning environment. My time at Eastbrook has more than prepared me for both studying an intensive course at Oxford and for the wider working world. It does an excellent job of balancing a fun and exciting school experience with the challenging and innovative educational opportunities it offers”

Alfie has just left Year 13 after 7 years with us and has now gone on to Oxford University to study French and Arabic.

Please come and visit us next Thursday to hear more about our school, our successes, our future plans, and why Eastbrook is rapidly gaining an excellent reputation in our community. You don’t need to book with us but we do ask that our visitors wear a face covering at times when social distance cant be maintained.
