11 students in Year 10,11 and 12 visited the Copper Box in Stratford on Saturday 4th March. The Girls were excited to be able to watch the Women’s Vitality Netball Superleague match between London Pulse and Surrey Storm. Talk before the game was about how impressive it would be and a close game and both teams made sure not to disappoint. Everyone was impressed with the quality of Netball on display from both teams and it certainly played up to the hype with it going goal for goal at one point with no idea who was going to take the win.

The girls were rooting for Surrey Storm, after meeting and being coached by Storms Player and Head Coach Mikki Austin as part of her work with our netball players through her coaching masterclass and the Spain Tour. The girls were lucky to see Mikki after the game and catch up with her and talk netball. They also had the privilege of meeting England Netball Legend and London Pulse Player Jade Clarke.
