Year 5 have been busy collating their learning from school and at home as they prepared to share their Science, History, English and Computing knowledge and understanding with parents and carers. The children were able to model their understanding of their previous computing unit ‘We are architects’ and to model this to parents and carers using 3D Sketchup. The children displayed great imagination and creativity throughout. They were also able to read aloud some of their poetry that was extremely emotive and peppered with descriptive and figurative language.

It doesn’t end there…

Pupils used their knowledge of the Viking Nordic language to record hidden messages that their parents/carers, and friends, had to work out- some were a little easier to decode than others.

Year 5 displayed great integrity, focus and curiosity throughout their learning journeys. Well done to all pupils for their exemplary efforts!
