Pupils in Year 3 have been studying plants in their Science lessons this term, they have been on a scavenger hunt in the school grounds to see what plants they could find…

They were able to spot oak trees, hawthorn trees, pine trees, strawberry plants, rosemary bushes, daisies, forget me nots and many more plants! They had to search high and lown to find all of the plants on their lists.

Later on, they sketched in pencil some of the plants. They took time, care and detail to sketch in the knals of the tree bark or the viens of the leaves. Ther was some beautiful art work produced.
