Under The Sea….

The children in reception have been getting crafty with Miss Mohmed creating incredible clay sea creatures. The showed great patience and resilience as they used clay to model their creatures, using their fingers and a variety of tools. The children picked starfish to make, but some of them decided to make fish or even jellyfish. It was great to see the children enjoying the artistic challenge, as we all know clay is a tricky material to work with, it really put their fine motor skills to the test.

They were so proud of their models and rather excited to paint them the following week. With the metalic paint at the ready, they painted their clay figures. The sparkly paint finished off the sea creatures wonderfully!
