This week Year Three pupils have been exploring and comparing fractions. Pupils began with sharing their understanding of a whole and then quickly moved on to naming the different parts of a fraction. All pupils are able to confidently name and identify the numerator and denominator.

Pupils have also been comparing fractions with different denominators to show which fraction is greater than or less than the other. Year Three pupils progressively used the fraction wall to support their growing understanding and exploration of fractions. Well done Year Three!
