Year 1 combined their fabulous computing skills with their very able writing skills this morning to produce their Christmas lists for Santa. The children were able to successfully navigate their way around the Smyths toy website and find toys and gadgets of interest. There were plenty of wide eyes to be seen and gasps to be heard.

The children only had ten precious spaces on their lists though, so they had to choose wisely before committing to paper and making a definite choice by adding a toy to the list. The room fell silent as everybody was so engrossed in their choices that we were even able to enjoy some festive music as well to really get us into the spirit.

Mrs Turner certainly noticed that our already beautiful handwriting looks like it has been written by Year 6 children when we know that Santa and his elves need to read it. Such a wonderful morning!
