Throughout the Autumn term, we have been working very hard on recruiting a catering team to run the Primary kitchen. We held very successful “Taster Days” where our children gave us very helpful information to inform our exciting new menu.

During the Easter break, our new caterers underwent training and prepared the kitchen equipment and serving area for the start of the summer term.

On Monday 15th April, we cooked and presented our first meals from the Primary kitchen. The pupils thoroughly enjoyed the whole dining experience. One child remarked, “This is better than a real restaurant!” – one of many positive comments.

All our food is now prepared on-site in our kitchen from freshly sourced ingredients. We have far greater variety and our meals are healthier than ever before!
