Year Three have thoroughly enjoyed learning about magnets during their Science topic of ‘Forces’. Today they designed magnetic games and then had a chance to test them out with pupils from Year 4!

There was a variety of games from driving through a maze, fishing underwater creatures from a lake and bowling! Year Three pupils explained the rules of their game to their Year Four friends very clearly, eg. we will time how long it takes for you to drive through the maze and the player with the shortest time will be the winner or whoever catches the most sea creatures each round is the winner.

There was lots of laughter and a healthy competitive streak to be hear and seen in the class room. Children in both classes demonstrated a love of learning, zest, creativity and in some perseverance.
