Pupils in Year Six this week have started reading Macbeth. They have drawn images of the battle scene and the mysterious witches swirling overhead. The pupils produced their pictures using oil pastels and spent time blending the colours together. The completed pictures looked fantastic!

Next, pupils wrote descriptions of the battle scene using expanded noun phrases and pathetic fallacies. There were some vivid descriptions of the violent, gory battle and strange witches.
