Pupils in Year Three had the chance to be archeologists today when they took part in an exciting entry point to their new history topic – ‘Temples, Tombs and Treasures’. The children were very keen to become involved in learning what life was like for people living in Ancient Egypt.

Today during the introduction to the topic they learnt to write their name in hieroglyphics, uncovered treasures and artefacts from sand and pieced together images. The children were very enthusiastic about their new topic and eager to learn more, it was a pleasure to see such inquisitive minds at work! Well done Year Three pupils.
