We have had a very busy day. Year 4 have been excited about expanding their knowledge of plants. We took full advantage of the glorious sunshine and  spent our Science lesson investigating the plants that we have in our immediate environment. We used a hoop to mark off our catchment area so that we could concentrate on the different varieties of plants that we could visually identify within that space. While we were observing the different plants, we also had an opportunity to sketch some of the interesting plants that we found. It was amazing to see how many different plants live and grow alongside each other. We also discovered that regardless of the plant, green was a very significant colour.
