Chocolate Treasure Hunt

What an amazing morning we have had! As part of our topic learning about Chocolate, we visited our Forest School to complete a treasure hunt. While in the forest, the children were tasked with finding 10 brown envelopes which contained different pictures related to the chocolate making process. Our learners had to collect all 10 pictures and then place in the chronological order, showing how chocolate is made, from source to end product. It was a little challenging and not all groups were able to find all the clues but it was great to be in the fresh air.

Once we had completed that activity, we were treated to a warm fire and a toasted marshmallow, thanks to Mrs Fernandes. It was an amazing morning!  During our topic lesson, we continued to expand our knowledge by using the picture clues that we collected to correctly sequence, discuss and better understand the chocolate making process.
