Today the children were able to part in a range of activities focused on the character virtues of; courtesy, forgiveness, self-discipline, honesty, gratitude and determination. To support the children in their self-discipline, they took part in an active listening activity. They had to listen carefully to instructions and draw what they could hear. These were then compared at the end of the session and the children evaluated their listening skills. Some of the children found the activity easy and could follow along the instructions, some children said the instructions needed more detail.
