Well done to the 6th form, Year 8 and Year 10 who completed their first LFT test today. It was lovely to see them all and hear how excited they all are to be returning to school. Understandably, one or two students were a little anxious about taking the test. However, all students were guided through the process by our wonderful team of supervisors and helpers, and everyone saw that it is a quick, easy and painless experience.

We are making sure that the whole school take these tests because they are the best way to ensure that students and their friends stay safe and do not have to miss any further time off school. It also helps to avoid students taking home the virus and putting their family members at risk. No one wants either of these things to happen so please make sure you take the test and ‘do your bit’ to help keep everyone safe. Remember that a large proportion of Covid cases are asymptomatic so we could be carrying it and spreading it to others without knowing.

If you were scheduled to take the test today but weren’t able to for any reason, please come in tomorrow and we will arrange for you to do it then.
