Congratulations to Allegra Mihai in 7E for winning the 2022 Jack Petchey Award for the Visual Arts department. Allegra is a dedicated artist who consistently demonstrates the ‘PROUD’ ethos virtues that we prize at Eastbrook School. A Black Excellence Portrait Competition winner and a regular attender to all extracurricular art clubs, Allegra is hardworking, caring and regularly offers creative suggestions on how we can further support cultural and social inclusivity when planning for future activities.

To quote Allegra herself: “Us students are extremely lucky to have such fantastic equipment and amazing art teachers to support us in Art & Design. By winning this award, I hope to improve the department even more, so that students can express their talents.”
