Parents will be aware that in line with Government guidance, once schools have administered 3 on site Covid tests, students are then required to conduct twice weekly tests at home. As we have now completed the on site tests, all students will be issued with a testing kit to take home on the 17th March.
It is extremely important that students continue to test regularly so that we are all taking reasonable steps to avoid the spread of the Coronavirus. All students are now familiar with how the tests are conducted so it should be a quick and straightforward process but instructions are included to give additional guidance.
Students should test each Wednesday and Sunday evening until further notice and should take their first test on the evening of Wednesday 17th
Test Register system
It is also important that each result is registered and we have invested in additional technology to assist everyone with this. Details of this are below:
· On the days where reminders are set (Sunday & Wednesday), you will receive an email which contains a link. When you click on this link, you will be logged into TestRegister and will be able to submit your result straight away. It will also provide a link to Gov.uk where you will also need to register your result.
· There’s no need for login details or passwords – the reminder emails do it all for you!
· Please note, if you have any problems you can visit testregister.co.uk/login and enter your email address. You will then be sent a link that you can follow to log in and register a result
· Note that reminder emails are sent at 7am on the day the test is due
