Hindleap Warren

Hindleap Warren Outdoor Education Centre set in 300 acres of woodland and wilderness high in the Ashdown Forest (Sussex).creates opportunities for physical, personal and social development.

Students face difficult challenges and have to work together to overcome these.

One of our student mentions:

“Hindleap Warren was an experience you won’t forget. It was an opportunity to face your fears, take chances and step out of your comfort zone while also building stronger bonds with fellow classmates and staff. It’s a time where everything in your personal life gets put on hold, and you’re able to step away for the weekend into an environment where everyone supports each other, and pushes each other forward. My personal favourite was the night walk as I formed new friendships with people I had hardly spoken to previously and we all worked well together as a team, but everyone’s personalities made it very amusing. The scariest was the Pentagon as it was high and challenging. The staff did well when catering to our needs and I feel like I have built a stronger and trusting bond with all of them, they encouraged all of us to give things a try and always praised us for giving it our best shot no matter the outcome. I would highly recommend this experience to next years GCSE class and to future GCSE students. It’s a fantastic experience, and looking back I will miss the moments we shared and appreciate the memories made.”
