Today has been a very important day in showing our solidarity with the young people of Ukraine. As part of a non-uniform day, students were encouraged to wear items of clothing that represent the colours of the Ukrainian flag. The money that has been donated will support schools in Poland and other Eastern European countries to educate their Ukranian students.

Students and staff across the school are very proud to be doing their bit to raise awareness of the plight of the Ukranian people and to support this very worthy cause.

All year groups continue to take part in assemblies and form time activities that help to inform them about the ongoing conflict.

Important Update

Thanks to the amazing effort and commitment to this cause, the school has raised more than £2000 towards supporting the Ukranian refugees moving to schools in other countries. We are now working to find a school that we can partner with to give the funds to and follow the progress of its new students. Our sincere thanks to everyone who contributed to the day … it was a huge success!
