Don’t violate our Human Rights!

UCL law students began working with over 75 students in year 9 for an 8 weeks project every Wednesday.

Many thanks to the UCL law students, especially Farah A and Alex Y, who have organised these sessions. Some of the topics throughout the project will include

–           What are human rights?

–          Absolute vs qualified rights

–          The Human Rights Act 1998

–          And many more

In last Wednesday’s session one of the questions debated was, given the right of everyone to be educated, should education be free? In answering this question, Eastbrook’ s students, showed PROUD virtues whilst applying their arguments and reasoning skills championing the need for us to remain resolute in defending our human rights!
