This year’s UKMT Junior Challenge went ahead as planned. The junior challenge was for years 7 and 8. The students showed resilience throughout the preparation so it wasn’t surprising the school had a good number of silver and bronze certificates.

The best overall in the school was Georgiana Pirvu in year8. Other students who also got the silver certificates were Simona Ivanova  and Adnan Hoque. The best in year 7 was Wazid Chwdury, also with a silver certificate with Liam Suter and Jaden Boteng. There were 8 bronze certificates overall from both year groups.  Their commitment throughout the whole preparation process portrays an audacious showcase for love of mathematics.

All those with silver certificates qualified for the next stage of the competition.
