For the entry point to the new History topic of ‘Ancient Egyptians’, pupils became archaeologists! Pupils excavated in the sand for hidden treasure, uncovered pictures in tombs, put ruined pottery together again and learnt how to write their names in hieroglyphics!

Pupils demonstrated their school virtues of teamwork, love of learning and curiosity during the lesson. They are really excited to learn more about the fascinating ‘Ancient Egyptians’!
