Year 6 Computing – Toy Makers

Today, Year 6 have spent their Friday working tirelessly in the computing suite. Like 21st Century Santa’s Elves, they were busy designing and evaluating ideas for new, interactive toys.

Having spent some time getting to grips with the Make:Code programming blocks, they moved on to consider what types of inputs and outputs toys they own and know about currently process. This lead to the children considering how they would use Make:Code and the Micro:Bits physical computing platform to create their own toys.
