Year 4 and 5 visited the Natural History Museum

Year 4 and 5 visited the Natural History Museum on Thursday 5th December. They analysed specimens in a workshop and found some amazing items such as antlers, skulls and spiders!

Later on they explored the dinosaur gallery, viewing a realistic T-rex and many dinosaur fossils. They even touched a real dinosaur claw!

The highlight of the day was a journey into the core of the earth. In this gallery they touched cooled magma, experienced a simulated earthquake and saw items preserved from Pompeii.
