Year 2 Had a Toymendous Time at the Young V&A

Year 2 will sleep well tonight! They had a wonderful day out at the Young V&A in Bethnal Green. The children had  the opportunity to explore the galleries and interactive exhibits at the Young V&A which is a museum all about childhood toys and games.

There was time for exploring the imagination playground in a different setting, visiting the doll house town, having fun with some mesmerizing sand and completing various tasks given to them by Mr Peake. All in the name of learning linked to our history topic “The Rise in Popularity of Electronic Toys”.

The children all displayed wonderful Character Virtues such as Teamwork, Courtesy and Kindness throughout the day and were exemplary in their behaviour and conduct whilst travelling and in the museum itself.
